Taking Care of Business

 

“Taking care of Business (in a flash).”, Elvis Presley’s motto and name of his band once he returned to active performing in the late ‘60s. “In a flash” was symbolized by Presley’s use of the lightening bolt in his jewelry and clothing. Elvis had been a fan of Fawcett Publishing’s Captain Marvel Jr. growing up. This influenced his clothing, adornments, and even hair, in the latter part of his career.
