Rick Baker

 

A big influence on me and my artwork is Rick Baker and the incredible work he’s committed to film. I first learned of him when I got a copy of Scholastic Books’ Supermag when I was a kid. It featured stories on The Incredible Melting Man and Star Wars. The photos included of the former really frightened me but I couldn’t stop looking at them. From that time forward, I would read every article I could find on Rick Baker’s creations. His work continues to motivate me to this day.
