Wanda Ventham in Captain Kronos: Vampire Hunter

 

Captain Kronos: Vampire Hunter (Hammer 1974) was the initial film in a proposed trilogy that was never realized. In this movie, Wanda Ventham (mother of Benedict Cumberbatch) plays Lady Durward, leader of a clan of vampires terrorizing a European village. The actor who played Captain Kronos, Horst Janson, is still acting and the recently renewed Hammer studios should consider dusting off the remaining two scripts in this series and make modified versions of them, adjusted for the passage of time.
