Curse of Frankenstein prop head

 

Prop head designed for use in the breakthrough 1957 Hammer classic, The Curse of Frankenstein. Scenes were shot of Victor Frankenstein (Peter Cushing) examining this noggin for possible use didn't end up in the film. Photos of the loose cranium were published for years in monster magazines and books.
